Small Business Hires Plunged In June, But Employees Saw Wages Rise, Paychex Survey Indicates

In a report on Wednesday, Paychex exclaimed that hiring in small business plunged last month, despite that employee’s monthly wages rose.

Paychex, Inc. is a prominent service provider for payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services who allows small & medium sized businesses to focus on their growth & help them manage their business. In a report by this Human Resource stated that the job index is at the lowest level since late 2011, which decreased 0.24% in June. The report further stated that the national earnings for the month June were $25.82 which rose to 2.88% or 72 cents each year.

The Paychex report came a day prior to Automatic Data Processing Inc.‘s (ADP) June report in the private sector, who was late because of the Fourth of July, and two days before the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its intently watched business information for June.
