However, due to the growing adoption of digital printing in APEJ it is set to outpace North America, increasing its revenue share to 40.7% by 2026. Moreover, by product type, label and folding cartons segment account for more than 3/4th of the market share in APEJ digital printing in the packaging market.

Rise in Demand for Digital Printing to be used in Shrink Sleeves Market

Shrink sleeves labels or roll-on shrink sleeves are printed on polyester film or plastic material. These labels include 360-degree design coverage. Being moisture and abrasion resistant make these labels perfect for products encountering friction and moisture. Customers have recently started preferring digital printing technology in shrink sleeves market due to its ability of customisation while printing. The operational cost of digital printing for shrink sleeves is also less.
